Ade Ubaidil is a writer from Cilegon, Banten, born and raised in Kampung Cibeber. He is a volunteer at Komunitas Rumah Dunia in the city of Serang, and Editor in Chief of www.kurungbuka.com. In 2017 he was selected as an Emerging Writer at the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, and a year later represented Indonesia at the Southeast Asian Literature Council (Mastera), in the short story category. He is the author of 10 books of fiction. His latest is the short story collection "Sahut Kabut" (Indonesia Tera, 2022), and a novel adaptation "Yuni" (Gramedia Pustaka Utama, 2022) from a film scenario by Kamila Andini.
